As many of you know, I love my baseball. The “inclement” weather tonight was no deterrent to me. The first wave of storms barely sprinkled on the game despite the black out from the clouds. Round 2 was a little more interesting. As the storm passed south, the sun set to the north with an eerie glow of orange. Soon enough, the winds shifted and the southern storms blew in with a beautiful display of lightning. At one point, the lightning appeared to be high-fiving through the sky. After a a 2-1 Indians victory, fireworks night carried on. The background songs of AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck” and R.E.M.’s “It’s the End of the World as We Know It (And I Feel Fine)” made the fireworks and lightning extravaganza all that much more awe inspiring.
