Third Annual Muncie Springfest Breathes New Life Into the Midwest

Muncie Springfest is a music festival dedicated to raising environmental awareness in our communities, promoting local and regional art, encouraging respect and acceptance of all peoples and belief systems, and continuing to grow the Midwest music scene. It is a combination of music festival, art fair, performance exhibition, and amazing sensory experiences.

The festival is a continuation of building not only a stronger local music community but also helping to create a brighter future for artists all over the world. In an effort to give back and further the advancement of music in general, this year’s festival will be teaming up with the Playing for Change Foundation. The Playing For Change Foundation (PFCF) is dedicated to connecting the world through music by providing resources (including, but not limited to facilities, supplies, and educational programs) to musicians and their communities around the world.

This year’s Springfest will be held at the Waterbowl on SR 3 in Muncie, Indiana from April 16th-18th. The three-day festival will host bands from all over the country including Great American Taxi, Papadosio, Particle, Ultraviolet Hippopotamus, MC Sparkplug, Catch Curtis, Rich Hardesty and many more. Production will be handled by Covert Operations, Herm Productions, and Post Script with several food, merchandise, and service vendors.

There will be three stages set up throughout the site complete with a LED light show, an arts-and-crafts zone, a music market area, fire dancers, drum circles, large art installations, and on-site tree planting. Parking and camping are free with ticket purchase.

Tickets for this event are $35 presale and $45 at the gate for a 3-day weekend pass. One day passes are available for $20 presale and $25 at the gate. Presale tickets are currently available for purchase online through the event website through April 4th.
