Hey don’t know how many of you are gamers, but I have bitten the bug hardcore since I got to play BurgerTime on the Atari2600… ANyway, for those of you that enjoy playing video games and would like to experience it on a scale not normally seen or heard of, I thought I would tell you about NetHeads.
If you’re a Broad Ripple junkie like I used to be, you would have seen it around for many years. It used to be right above the Brugge… however, they’ve moved north, and with their move, they’ve gotten a LOT bigger. 30 computers, 16 Xbox360s and a Wii! That’s right. All the gaming to your hearts content. I actually went their the day of my wedding just to get out some morning jitters before the big event.
Call of Duty, Counterstrike, Warcraft 3, F.E.A.R, Halo, Ages of Empires, Hellgate:London, Tom Clancy’s EndWar, Madden09, Peggle, Sims, and many many more titles are on top-of-the-line systems. GeForce9800s anyone? Flat screen monitors aren’t little 15 inch screens, but 24 inch monsters!
I know that this won’t be a big thing for a lot of people, but NetHeads has always been a great way for me to spend some time enjoying my friends and kicking their ass in the games we choose. For some reason, I tend to have more fun there than even sometimes when I’m at home playing.
Give it a try… 1017 W Main St in Carmel. It’s my favorite place to be when I’m not working!
