The mid 1960’s was the unquestionable golden era of British Rock. The Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Who, The Yardbirds, Cream, The Kinks, Pink Floyd, The Zombies, The Animals, etc. were dominating radio airwaves across the globe. Everywhere, ironically enough, except in Britain where the BBC refused to let rock be a centerpiece of British radio. Afraid of change or the consequences of it, they only rationed a couple hours a week late at night to this new generation of superstars. A rowdy cast of misfits decided to take it upon themselves to let the masses hear what they desired, the revolution of Rock and Roll music.
Up to this point historically, all this actually happened.
