Italy based Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo (producer) and Tommy Tea (DJ, sampling) have been cranking out dance-punk and Italian electro-house since 2006. In 2009 Aoki’s Dim Mak Records released the first studio album entitled Romborama. “Warp 1.9″ and “Cornelius” were their first big singles, and to this date the album has sold over 2,000,000 copies worldwide.
Last year the group had their biggest production to date with their release of Hide. The album has collaborations spanning all around with the likes of Paul McCartney, Youth, Tommy Lee, Peter Frampton, and many more. Also in 2013, Rifo introduced The Bloody Beetroots Live incorporating Edward Grinch (drums) and Battle (synths) into a live act.
The fact that Indianapolis is fortunate enough to have these extremely talented individuals perform for us is crazy. With the venue being the Vogue, you get up close and personal to the artists. You will not get to see a show like this again, unless you go to a festival and fight the crowds for a glimpse of their magic. Be at this show!
