My Sunday/weekend rituals that I try to do each week

So it’s Sunday and the Colts game is coming on…most people probably think that I should be either a)getting crazy at the game OR b)getting crazy somewhere else while watching the game(like DJs loft). Well, as of right now I’m doing neither – instead I am doing a couple of my weekly(I try) weekend rituals that attempt to keep me at least sightly domesticated. Let me tell you a few of these rituals and you’ll see what I’m saying:

Ritual #1: Go to church.

Yes, it’s true – I goto church and I make my best effort to get there every single week. Depending on what goes on Saturday night, that could be as early at 8am or as late as 5:30pm…haha.

I actually even read at St. Roch parish every couple of weeks. It’s a great time to sit and think to myself with no distractions, ya know?

Ritual #2: Wash the ride at Mikes Carwash.

If anyone knows me, they know that my ride can get pretty trashed(inside and outside) really fast, so a trip to Mike’s Carwash is definitely something that I try to get done on the weekends as well. It’s definitely my favorite place to clean the ride and I can rock out the shopvacs with the best of ‘em.

Mike’s is the bomb-diggity.

Rollin’ through the wash!

Gotta love the stuffed animals.

Hey Mike!

After I cleaned I left a little present :)

Ritual #3: Do some laundry.

Ok, I know that everyone’s laundry piles up – so don’t even try to say that it doesn’t. I think that mine just happens to pile up a little bigger than most. :)

I even shock myself sometimes…

I usually slack on this so that it’s bad like it is now and I’m doing like 4 loads in one day…oh well. At least I get it done, right? :)

So – those are 3 of my Sunday/Weekend rituals that I try to get done on a weekly basis – it jut makes me feel better going into the Monday with each one of these taken care of. But, it’s just a matter of time before i have to do them all again…it’s a vicious cycle, but it’s how I roll!

So…do YOU have any weekend rituals? If so – blog it up now!

HOLLLLA!
