The jFET Project began in early 2011 by Producer / DJ “Jangatha.” After over 50 house music releases on some of the most respected labels in both digital and vinyl format, the need to seek fresh sounds was instilled and inspired by the edgy bass music arena. The focus is rather simple, to push fresh hype sounds in any BPM it fits with best. jFET’s sounds have been catching on quick. His debut EP reached #15 on the Beatport Dubstep Release charts, and caught the attention of several respected blogs including The Untz. 2012 should be a big year for jFET, as many more EP’s and remixes are scheduled for release on some of the hottest and established dubstep labels. With support from national touring acts such as Figure, Urban Assault (Faust & Shortee), and Reid Speed, we will likely be hearing much more to come from this barely year old project. jFET: Intergalactic Hitman / Producer / Performer.

Keep an eye out for his upcoming release on the New Blood Of Dubstep Vol. 3 on Play Me Records, due out this Summer!

Since 2010, Indiana-based EMP (Electronic Music Producer/Performer) MT Nasty has been bringing his unique brand of chopped-beat, wonky bass glitch hop and general auditory arson to the masses. Created and performed entirely in Ableton Live, MT’s performances focus on live beat/bassline creation and manipulation using complex, self-created mappings for an array of MIDI controllers. The result is an unmistakably individual sound, with an emphasis on live audio manipulation and controllerism in the vein of cutting edge producers/Ableton educators such as ill.Gates and Jon Margulies (Hobotech). MT Nasty’s penchant for tossing classic Hip-Hop and R & B samples lends a degree familiarity to a sound that otherwise has its roots in 2020 and beyond. Look and listen to MT Nasty for an innovative approach to both the production and performance of contemporary Electronic Music.

Jake Massey aka DJ Mass Appeal started rocking the 1’s & 2’s at Indiana University back in 1998. At that time it was just a hobby, but little did he know, it would quickly turn into his passion and a way of life. For the next four years, Mass Appeal quickly gained popularity in “B-Town” throwing underground parties with DJ CanAm and other local DJs, rocking the fraternity scene and spinning sets at Axis Nightclub (Now called Jake’s).

After graduating from IU in 2003, he moved down to Jacksonville, FL and held down a residency at the popular downtown spot Jaguar Ugly. His love for Indiana brought him back to his roots where he quickly gained notoriety for his Old School Nights at Barley Island, a small brewery in Noblesville, IN. He would consistently bring hundreds of old school hip-hop fans together in a city where the DJ scene never existed before his arrival. Old School Night included special guest appearances from DJs such as OhBeOne, Buck Rodgers, Iron Lion, K-Gee and S-Dot (Louisville, KY).

Without a doubt his biggest accomplishment to date is winning a spot to perform at Identity Fest at Verizon Wireless Music Center in front of thousands of energetic electronic music fans. Mass Appeal beat out several other well-known and incredibly talented Indianapolis DJs and won the opportunity of a lifetime thanks to the Slater Hogan, John Larner & Stewbot of the Keepin’ It Deep crew. He got to play on the same ticket as national acts such as Steve Aoki, DJ Shadow, Kaskade, Rusko, Chuckie, The Crystal Method, Nero, Datsik as well as all the heavy hitters in the Indianapolis DJ community. DJ Mass Appeal is taking the city by storm. On any given night, he will play anything from hip-hop to top 40 to old school to dubstep. Some of his local influences include OhBeOne, Buck Rodgers, TopSpeed, Indiana Jones, and Orion aka Hugh Jeffner. If you get an invite to one of his events, you owe it to yourself to attend. The only requirement is to bring your dancing shoes; you are going to need them!

For the last half decade, Jin-XS has become a recognizable face in the Indianapolis DJ scene, across a broad spectrum of genres.

Born in Uqbar, later moving to Broad Ripple at the age of 3, Jin-XS spent much of his youth and teens in the rave, industrial, and hip hop undergrounds, but he truly began his own musical journey way back in 1999 in Denver, when a cousin taught him the ins and outs of using DJ equipment. Around this time he also began teaching himself a variety of music software. By 2003, he had begun his work with instrumental production and mastering the art of DJing itself, and continues to the present, spinning an eclectic mix of genres in some of Indianapolis’ biggest music venues. In 2009 he opened for “End:The DJ,” the #1 Industrial DJ in the world, at Gencon. He has shared the bill with top acts such as My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult, The Ready Set, and Inner Party System, and appeared in BET’s tour commercial for Murphy Lee. He has held residency at Tru Nightclub, one of Broadripple’s biggest clubs, and a resident for Juxtapoze, one of Indy’s biggest and longest running weekly DJ showcases.

Chris bought his first set of turntables in 2001, spinning vinyl that included Dutch Hardcore, Trance, House, and Techno. In 2011 he reinvented himself as DJ Declan as a tribute to a lost soul and began playing shows in the Midwest, this time adding Tech House and Electro to his playlists and embracing the digital change to DJ technology.
After one year as DJ Declan, it is time to lay the name to rest and move on to a name he has kicked around to test different genre blends, SIX FOUR COMMODORE.

Ganzarelli has always been a lover of all types of music. But his love for electronic music and hip hop is what brought him to the dj scene. IN 2000 he bought his first set of turntables and started playing house music at local house parties in his hometown of Indianapolis, IN. He then took a break from music to persue other ventures, but in 2008 he decided that everyday life was too boring and bought another set of turntables and started playing hardhouse, hip hop , and dnb at local house parties. He then landed his first residency at a local bar and others followed. While jumping from club to club with other local djs he was introduced into the local hip hop scene working with local rapper brad real. Together they have done shows all over indianapolis and recently in chicago. In 2011 he was introduced to dubstep by some local djs and he decided to take his fast hardhouse style to dubstep. With his fast style of grimey hood dubstep his name has been growing in the local underground scene, and he wont stop until he reaches the top. You are going to see more to come form Ganzarelli.

Hugh Jeffner… also known as DJ Orion is an Arizona native with over two decades of turntable smashing sets to his credit. This very enigmatic performer has been rocking dance floors everywhere crafting a unique and unmistakable sound. Razor sharp DJ skills, a solid studio IQ, and rock steady performances on national stages have made this polarizing entertainer a must see event.
DJ Orion got started spinning over two decades ago during the turntable revolution in the late 80’s and early 90’s. His love affair with vinyl records, samplers, and talent to match has produced one of the most successful radio DJ’s in the US.
Living in the ever changing club scene and global music explosion, DJ Orion traveled endlessly in pursuit of nightclub residencies, concert performance opportunities, and any open set of turntables to jam on. This unwavering work ethic towards music was an unconscious guide to his upcoming radio career. In 1999, he moved to Indianapolis to pursue a new music scene. Once here, he aggressively reached out to promoters, radio personalities, and countless street DJ’s for gigs or a chance at commercial radio. Shortly afterwards, he met DJ Indiana Jones at prominent local night hotspot. This was the launch pad for a radio career that is still going strong. (WNOU/ RadioNOW 100.9/
This landmark decision to pursue commercial radio opened up opportunities to perform at national level A List events. Some of these benchmarks include The Indianapolis 500, NASCAR, NCAA Final Four, USF1, US Moto GP, NFL, and well over 150 appearances as an opening / backline (Artist DJ) on massive concert stages. These large scale event performances inevitably landed Orion in an up and coming Indianapolis based hip hop trio known as The Cleptoz. Despite never landing a major record deal, The Cleptoz regularly traveled and rocked many college campuses from Indiana University, Purdue, and the world famous Ohio State.
During this journey, he entered a small handful of turntable style DJ battles to sharpen his teeth on the decks. The end result is a well rounded approach to being a DJ using artistic creativity, track selection, and seamless mixing. This attention to detail has landed him weekly and monthly club residencies at premier venues. These consistent performances attracted bookings from many celebrities like Peyton Manning (NFL), Isaiah Thomas (NBA Hall of Famer), and Lebron James (NBA) just to name a few.
Currently, Orion is reinventing his sound and image under the name Hugh Jeffner. This change of direction professionally is leading the way to a career as a producer/artist/DJ. Most recently, his production work landed him a few licensed remixes with the most notable being “Lunatic” by artist/songwriter Candi Lynn (
Most recently he has landed residencies in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, and Los Angeles is on the horizon. Look for Mr. Jeffner in your market soon.

Jordan Rodgers, born and raised in Richmond, Indiana – felt a natural intuition towards music as a small child, growing up as a drummer and had his first set of drums at the age of four. Rodgers first musical influence was his grandfather who played in a band as a bass and keyboard player – exposing Rodgers to funk, rock, and soul music.

In 2000 Rodgers moved to Orlando, Florida where he first fell in love with House music, after being exposed to such artists as Voodoo & Serano, Daft Punk, Ian van Dahl and so on. Living apartment life in Orlando, playing the drums was no longer an option, and with his new found love of House music, Rodgers naturally picked up his first set of turntables at the age of twelve.

Shortly after moving back to Indianapolis in 2001, Rodgers met the legendary Indianapolis DJ Topspeed, who recognized Rodgers potential quickly and immediately took Rodgers under his wing and mentored Rodgers into the dynamic individual he is today.

In 2008, Rodgers landed a mixshow with WJEL 89.3. Shortly after high school where he launched his DJ career under the wing of DJ Topspeed, and landed his first resident gig spinning at Knockouts Bar & Grill on the south side of Indianapolis under the name DJ Buck Rodgers.

Rodgers currently has a residency at the Fox And Hound Bar & Grill where he effortlessly fuses Hip-Hop, R&B, Electro, Breaks, Top 40, Funk, and House to create his signature sound. As an aspiring club DJ who intends to do nothing other than leave his mark on the music world, keep your eyes and ears open for DJ Buck Rodgers and see for yourself why he is considered “Indy’s best kept Secret.”
