-Voted Chicago’s Artist of the Month in August 2010 by the Deli Magazine
- Named Heavy Planet’s “Best New Band to Burn One To“
- Three EP’s released during the band’s short two-year history (most recent: The Tells of Parallels EP)
During a time when the internet is saturated with social media event invites (to the point where bands and promoters rely solely on facebook to get the word out), it was a pleasant surprise to see a band recently reach out to the Indy Mojo community, develop a complete profile, and upload videos, photos, and tracks. A band not even from Indianapolis, nonetheless.
So I checked them out (the least I could do for a band so receptive to our beloved Mojo) and it turns out they’re great. The music is heavy and often blusey, but it’s fueled with firery vocals and distortions that make nods to Jack White’s punky, southern-inspired, weirdo rock’n’roll. Their sound is of rock star quality- professionally put together, yet fluidly delivered with chaotic confidence that says, “We’re badasses, and we came to rock you.”
Check them out this Saturday at Radio Radio. They’re playing with local up-and-comers Goliathon.
