A weekend with my little ones…

So, i had another very low key weekend without my mojo mo’fos…

however, i did get to spend it with my favorite little ones…my twin 7-year old brothers, Austin & Adam and my not so little 14-year old little sister, Brittany. I love getting to spend time with them…and i love how excited they are when they find out they dont have stay with their grandparents…but with me!!

FRIDAY: not too excited…by the time i got to the Southside it was time for dinner and they were in bed shortly after that. I spent the rest of the evening getting most of my homework done.

SATURDAY: apparently 7-year olds dont know the definition of sleeping in!! They were up at 7:30…which meant i was up at 7:30 on a Saturday!! yikes!! I got them breakfast and dressed for a soccer game at 10. We went to the fields and i got to cheer them on to a victory (2 goals for austin!!).

then it was home for a shower and ready to head out again…the kids voted for MickeyDees for lunch…then…headed ALL the way to Noblesville for some fun!!

We hit up Russell’s Farm in Noblesville. They had kiddie games, corn mazes, scavenger hunts, miniture golf, hayrides, petting zoo, snack shack, playground, and of course PUMPKINS!! After almost 3 hours of that it was time to head home!! we were all exhausted and ready to settle down. I made dinner and we watched a couple movies before they were ready to head to bed…almost an hour or so later than normal…(plan to get them to sleep in…). Another late night for me getting some homework done.

SUNDAY: the boys were up early again…8ish and were definitely ready to go!! Got breakfast and did a couple chores around the house while we waited for the Brittster to get ready to go. We headed to Circle Centre mall where we had lunch at PF Changs (yum!)…Austin & Britt are now in love with lettuce wraps…i mean who isnt!?!?! It was fun watching the boys eat lo mein noodles with chop stix!!

then we ventured around the mall…making stops at the Sweet Candy Factory and the Disney store…not exactly the stores Britt and I wanted to venture into…but it was all about the kids…

We hit up the third floor for some Gameworks time!! We spent over 2 hours hopping from one video game to the next!! the kids had a blast and said thank you about 15 times during the course of the 2 hours!!

Then it was time to head home…where the boys played with Peyton and Britt talked on the computer…dinner = left over PF Changs and time for Elise to head back to her place.

Finally home I settled into my couch and watched football..a little depressed that the weekend was gone…but that Monday brought my last day of class for a week and MOJO Night Football!!

I wonder what this coming weekend has in store for me…i know the kids want me to take them to the Haunted House at the Children’s Museum…
